You will take a short domestic flight from Cape Town to the regional airport nearest your lodge. When booking your stay, we recommend asking your lodge which airport they suggest flying into, whether they can arrange airport transportation, and what arrival and departure times they recommend to maximize your safari experience.

For those deciding between the Eastern Cape and Kruger National Park, both offer incredible safari experiences and the opportunity to see the same wildlife. The Eastern Cape is closer to Cape Town and requires less travel time, while Kruger is often considered the quintessential safari destination. Ultimately, your choice comes down to how much additional travel you’d like to add to your trip.
